About LinkedIn Mad Libs

I started this site because I was on LinkedIn searching for jobs, and I'd occasionally click over to my news feed to see updates from the network. And look, I get it. LinkedIn doesn't encourage authentic conversations or sharing, but that's because it's a reflection of American corporate culture, which also at best discourages those kinds of conversations and at worst penalizes you for even wanting them.

After the 10th post with the same formulaic content, about 50% of it clearly produced with AI help, I decided to have a little fun with it.

The first draft was too good

I think it says something that I had to create a dictionary that was completely unhinged in order to make actual satirical posts, because my first go-round actually made very genuine-sounding LinkedIn content. Like, you could copy and paste it and it would just disappear into the feed. No one would interact with it unless they were already friends with you and did that whole "click like because that's my buddy / someone I want to have sex with" thing I think most people do.

Anyway, that's how we got here.
